Our goal at East Valley Children’s Dentistry is to be your local community children’s dentist of choice. During your little one’s appointment, we aim for maximum patient comfort and to create a positive environment for the children.
Our staff is trained to work specifically with children to make going to the dentist a fun experience. To handle any anxiety, we have televisions strategically placed to distract kids, and stuffed animals to hold during their appointments. In the end, there are prizes to reward good behavior!
If children have positive dental experiences when they are young, there is a greater chance they will have better oral habits as adults. Office Environment
Right when you walk in, you are greeted by professional, friendly staff. There is a beverage and coffee station to help you get your caffeine fix. For the kids, there’s a play corner with toys and a “public library” at which little boys and girls can take and leave a book for more reading at home.
Our brand-new office also boasts state-of-the-art equipment. You can be rest assured that everything in the office is clean and safe, to give your child the best care possible.
New Technology
We are extremely careful to minimize radiation exposure for children. The amount of X-rays are tailored to each child’s individual needs and our state-of-the-art digital X-rays use 80 to 90% less radiation than conventional X-rays. With the use of lead aprons, digital X-rays, thyroid collars, and collimators, the amount of radiation received in a dental X-ray is extremely low.
Non-Invasive Dental Treatment Options
We are able to manage progression of cavities without the use of any numbing or dental drills by the use of silver diamine fluoride and a technique called the Hall crown. Please seek details if your child is a good candidate.
Sedation Dentistry
As specialists in pediatric dentistry, we are well versed and trained in the use of sedation medications for children. While ensuring that your son or daughter is comfortable and having a positive experience in any dental appointment, we keep your child’s safety and health as a top priority.
